Activision may love Sony but it obviously loves money more. Based on what PlayStation Ireland are tweeting, it looks like Crash Bandicoot will be a timed exclusive based on what PlayStation have been tweeting. Have a look:
will launch on 30th June 2017. To clarify our earlier post, it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first.

Unless PlayStation Ireland have made a cock-up here (they certainly made one earlier where they stated it was a PS4 exclusive), the wording is clear. With the Trilogy coming ‘first’ to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro ‘first’, the title is free to come to any other platforms. Unless Sony money-hats the exclusivity, there is no reason Crash can’t appear on other consoles as Activision owns the IP. Crash would certainly make a good fit on the Nintendo Switch I imagine.
Personally, I’d much rather have a new Crash Bandicoot game (its been too long!) but the Crash Trilogy being available on more platforms is good news for all gamers!
